Lost in Translation Game Aim: to teach the children’s books genre and make the students notice the differences and similarities between different languages.Process:One team will say a book title in their language and another team is going to try to guess the title in English. The order of turns would be the following: Moldova 2B – Turkey – Romania Z – Spain – Moldova 3A – Turkey – Romania T – SpainSince Moldova and Romania share the same language Turkey and Spain will go twice the number of turns. I hope that is okay and if you see it any other way, please, share.We can take as many turns as children are engaged and interested or as time allows.Find in the following file the Book Titles and all the details concerning the meeting: The Broken Telephone Game March 23 2021 The Moldovan teams the Romanian Ziduri and the Turkish team played a Chat Game of "The Broken Telephone" where students were given a book title in English -they had to translate it using Google Translate tool and pass it to a student from a partner country and in such way they passed it through 5 filters. The last student translated it back in English and passed it to the teacher.
